Lesnevich,Gus Vintage Photo

Gus Lesnevich was born on February 22, 1915 in Cliffside Park, New Jersey. On May 22, 1941 he defeated Anton Christofordis to win the NBA Light Heavyweight Title. He won the World Light Heavyweight Title on August 26, 1941 from Tami Mauriello. He retired after losing to Ezzard Charles on August 10, 1949 with a final record of 60-14-5 with 23 KO's.
