On September 27, 1950 Joe Louis and Ezzard Charles fought at Yankee Stadium in New York to determine the Heavyweight Champion. Charles emerged with the victory and the title decisioning Louis over 15 rounds. Presented here is an antique photo from this bout.
This antique photo from the Louis-Charles bout is 7" x 9." The corners are sligthly soft and there are creases in the upper right corner and along the lower left side. There is a horizontal tear along the right side. Clean image.
