HISTORY: On April 1,1938 at Chicago Stadium world heavyweight champion Joe Louis met Harry Thomas for the Heavyweight title. Louis would retain his title by a KO in the 5th round. Presented here is an original Press Pass for this event which was used to gain admittance to the arena.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original Press Pass which names the fighters, is numbered and includes the original wrist string. Bold color and print. Name of party who used the pass written on back, otherwise clean. Has two creases. Minor edge wear. Irregularly shaped to 2 1/2" x 3 1/8."
