LOUIS, JOE OFFICIAL EXHIBITION PROGRAM (1944)

Joe Louis was born on May 13, 1914 in Lafayette, Alabama. On June 22, 1937 he won the World Heavyweight Title from James J. Braddock. He retired after losing to Rocky Marciano on October 26, 1951. His final record was 63-3. Presented here is a Joe Louis exhibition program from 1944 while he was in the army.
This Joe Louis exhibition program from 1944 is 6 1/4" x 10." The program has several creases from where it was folded and there are rips along the bottom edge and there is a tear on the back cover. There is soiling on the front and back cover. Has not been scored.
