Roger Michelot (8 June 1912 in Saint-Dizier, Haute-Marne – 19 March 1993) was a French boxer who competed at the 1932 Summer Olympics and the 1936 Summer Olympics. In 1936 he won the gold medal in the light heavyweight class after winning the final against Richard Vogt. Born in Saint-Dizier, Haute-Marne he also competed at the 1932 Summer Olympics. Michelot fought briefly as a professional, almost exclusively in France, between 1942 and 1943 compiling a record of 11-2-1. Offered here is an ink signature of Roger Michelot which has been affixed to an index card.
This is a 2 1/4" x 4" paper which has been boldly signe din ink, "R. Michelot." Affixed to a 3" x 5" index card. Not creased or torn. Clean.
