On March 30, 1962 at the Sports Arena in Los Angeles former light heavyweight champion Archie Moore fought rising heavyweight star Alejandro Lavorante in the main event. Moore, now fighting as a heavyweight and still defying "Father Time" stopped Lavorante in the 10th round. Referee stopped the fight. Lavorante was carried from the ring on a stretcher. Offered here is a rare, original, on site poster from this event.
This is an original, cardboard, on site poster which pictures both fighters. Bold color and print. Bold, clear images. No center crease. Not creased. Has edge wear with minor loss on lower border. Some minor spotting and a small stain in lower left corner. Overall a very nice example. 22" x 28."
