HISTORY: On July 14, 1972 at the Singer Bowl in Flushing, New York former heavyweight champion Floyd Patterson fought Pedro Agosto in the main event. Patterson stopped Agosto in the 6th round when referee Arthur Mercante called the fight because of Agosto's severe cuts. Offered here is an original wire photo depicting action during this event.
