HISTORY: On March 29, 1939 at Chicago Stadium the 12th Annual Golden Gloves Intercity bouts were conducted. In the 126 Lb. division young Sugar Ray Robinson emerged victorious for the New York team defeating Tony Ancona. In the 147 lb. division future Joe Louis opponent Tami Mauriello lost a decision to Vernell Williams. Offered here is a very scarce, original, official program for this event.
