SANCHEZ, SALVADOR-JUAN ESCOBAR ON SITE POSTER (1978)

On April 15, 1978 featherweights Salvadore Sanchez and Juan Escobar fought on the undercard at the Olympic Auditorium. Sanchez would emerge as one of the greatest featherweights of all time, but on this night he fought the tough Escobar to a draw. Sanchez was knocked down in the 5th round. Rafael Limon and Sean O'Grady fought in separate features on the show. Presented here is the rare on site poster to this event.
This is a cardboard, 22" x 28" on site poster. No creasing. Vibrant color. Some very minor soiling. Pictures Limon, O'Grady and their opponents and lists the Sanchez fight. A very rare Sanchez poster from his 22nd professional fight.
