HISTORY: On July 3, 1931 at Municipal Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio world heavyweight champion Max Schmeling defended his title against Young Stribling. In an exciting fight dubbed the "Fight Of The Year For 1931" by Ring Magazine Schmeling prevailed stopping Stribling in the 15th round. On the undercard Tony Galento lost an 8 round decision to Johnny Risko.
