Young Stribling was born on Dec. 26, 1904 in Bainbridge, Georgia. During his career he fought Mike McTigue, Tommy Loughran, Battling Levinsky, Maxie Rosenbloom, Jack Sharkey, Primo Carnera and Max Schmeling during his career. Presented here is an original wirephoto of Young Stribling in 1930 with Olympic champion diver Aileen Riggin.
