TURNER, GIL-GENE FULLMER ON SITE POSTER (1955)

On June 20, 1955 at West Jordan Park in West Jordan, Utah middleweights Gil Turner and Gene Fullmer fought in the main event. The two had met two months earlier in Brooklyn and in a bruising fight Turner emareged victorious. In this fight Fullmer gained his revenge winning a ten round decision. Offered here is a scarce on site poster to the event.
This is an original, on site poster which is cardboard picturing Gil Turner. Not creased , but slightly bent. Very minor edge and corner wear. Clean. Bold image and color. 6 1/2" x 20 1/2."
