Alf Mancini was a British weleterweight fighter who was born in Notting Hill, London on April 22, 1904. He began his profession al career with a 6 round decision over Ted Laxton on December 1, 1920. Mancini fought notable fights with Len Harvey, Jack Hood and Jackie "Kid" Berg. His last fight was a loss to Archie Sexton on July 27, 1931. Mancini passed away in his hme town on October 4, 1968. Offered here is an original, first generation, antique photograph of Alf Mancini as he looked at the height of his career
