On December 4, 1912 at Cirque de Paris in Paris, France world middleweight champion Billy Papke fought George Bernard in the main event. Pake stopped Bernard in round seven. Papke defended his claim as World Middleweight champion. Bernard did not answer the bell for round seven. Offered here is an original, first generation, photograph depicting the end of the fight.
