TUNNEY, GENE VINTAGE SIGNED PHOTO

Gene Tunney was born May 25, 1897 in New York City. He won the American Light Heavyweight Title on January 13, 1922 in a bout with Battling Levinsky. He won the World Heavyweight Title on September 23, 1926 against Jack Dempsey. His final record was 77-1-3 with 45 KO's. Presented here is a vintage signed photo of Gene Tunney.

The inscription reads " To Bobbie Winkel,from a friend of Chris' grandad" Gene Tunney Oct 25,1925.The photo measures 5 inches by 7 inches.There are tack holes in each corner and a crease in the lower right hand corner.There is glue residue in each corner on the back.tThe signature is in black ink and is strong.The photograph is bold and clear.
