WELSH, FREDDIE ORIGINAL MOUNTED PHOTO

Freddie Welsh was born on March 5, 1886 in Wales. He defeated Willie Ritchie after 20 rounds on July 7, 1914 to win the Lightweight Championship. He retired after losing to Archie Walker on April 15, 1922 with a final record of 120-27-16. Presented here is an original, first generation, mounted photo of Freddie Welsh in fight pose as he looked at the height of his career.
