Henry Armstrong was the first man to hold three World Titles at the same time. He accomplished this in 1938 when he defeated Lou Ambers to win the World Lightweight Title. He had previously defeated Petey Sarron in 1937 to win the World Featherweight Title and Barney Ross in 1938 to win the World Welterweight Title. A deeply religious man, he had his autobiography published in 1956 entitled, Gloves, Glory and God. Presented here is an business card for Henry Armstrong.
This is an original business card naming Armstrong and noting him as the world's only triple crown champion. Address and phone number crossed off, but new number hand written on back. Bold color and print. Not creased. Minor toning. Minor edge wear. 2" x 3 1/2."
