CONN, BILLY SIGNED PHOTO

Billy Conn was born on October 8, 1917 in East Liberty, Pennsylvania. He won the World Light Heavyweight Title in a bout with Melio Bettina on July 13, 1939. He fought Joe Louis twice for the World Heavyweight Title but was not victorious. He retired after fight Joe Louis in an exhibition match on December 10, 1948 with a final record of 63-12-1 with 14 KO's. Presented here is a signed photo.
Billy Conn has boldly signed this 7" x 10" photo in green marker. He has inscribed it, "To my friend John From Billy Conn." The photo is creased on the left side of his head and there is a small crease in the upper left corner. The signature is not affected.
