GRECO, JOHNNY SIGNED PHOTO (CANADIAN WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION)

Johnny Greco (born 10/1/23, died 12/13/54-age 31) was an important Canadian welterweight who fought from 1940 to 1954. In his career he fought Bobby Ruffin, Tony Janiro and Beau Jack. On August 28, 1946 he defeated Dave Castilloux to win the Canadian welterweight title. Greco died at age 31 while still an active fighter with a record of 78-18-5. Offered here is a very scarce original promotional photo of Johnny Greco which he has signed and inscribed in ink.
