Charles Humez was born on May 18, 1927 in Mericourt, Pas de Calais, France. He began his career as a middleweight on September 25, 1948 with a win over Abdullah Hezil. In his career he fought Gene Fullmer, Randy Turpin, Tiberio Mitri and Ralph Tiger Jones. He retired after a loss to Gustav Scholz on October 4, 1958 with a final mark of 94-7-1.
