On June 20,1980 in Montreal, Canada Sugar Ray Leonard defended his welterweight tile against the great lightweight champion Roberto Duran. Duran was able to get Leonard into a brawling fight and would win the bout by unanimous decision in 15 rounds. Offered here is a color, large format action photo from the fight which has been signed by both Roberto Duran and Sugar Ray Leonard.
This is a beautiful large format action photograph. Bold color. Duran has signed in black sharpie across his trunks. Sugar ray leonard has signed across his trunks in blue sharpie. The Leonard autograph we obtained at a card show signing in Atlantic City in 1994. Duran signed this a few years ago while attending the Boxing hall of Fame in Canastota, New York. No creases, rips or tears. Clean. 16" x 20."
