MOORE, ARCHIE VINTAGE SIGNED PHOTO (1952)

Archie Moore was born on December 13, 1913 in Benoit, Mississippi. He won the World Light Heavyweight Title on December 17. 1952 from Joey Maxim. He fought on several occasions for the World Heavyweight Title but was never successful. He retired after an exhibition match with Nap Mitchell on August 27, 1965 with a final record of 183-22-9 with 129 KO's and 1 no contest. Presented here is a vintage signed photo.
Archie Moore has boldly signed this 8" x 10" photo in blue ink. He has inscribed it, "Best Wishes to My Pal Vig Grupici Archie Moore 52." There is a crease in the lower right corner and horizontally along the lower half of the photo. No rips or tears.
