RUFFIN, BOBBY HAND WRITTEN LETTER

Bobby Ruffin (B 1/4/21-D 1/17/96) was an American lightweight contender from Connecticut. Ruffin fought from 1938 to 1949 amassing a record of 74-30-13. In his career he fought Ike Williams, Sal Bartolo, Tippy Larkin and Sammy Angott among others. Offered here is an original hand written letter by Bobby Ruffin in which he indicates he is looking for a good fighter to train and his main interest, women, "the more the better."
This is a one page hand written letter with bold, full name signature. All in ink. Clean front and back. Includes the two original folds. No tears. 5 1/2" x 8 1/2."
