HISTORY: Lou Ambers was born on November 8, 1913 in Herkimer, New York. He won the World Lightweight Title from Tony Canzoneri on September 3, 1936. He retired after losing to Lew Jenkins on February 28, 1941 with a final record of 86-8-6 with 27 KO's. 

Offered here is a signed index card, "Regards from Lou Ambers," and he has added a note on the reverse, "The thrilling moment of my career was when I beat Tony Canzoneri for the Lightweight champion World Light Champion (2 times) 1936-1938 1939-1940."  Authenticated by PSA/DNA.
