HISTORY: Thomas "Tommy" Hearns (born October 18, 1958) is a retired American professional boxer. Nicknamed the "Motor City Cobra" and more famously "The Hitman," Hearns became the first boxer in history to win world titles in four divisions. He would also become the first fighter in history to win five world titles in five different divisions. Hearns was named Ring Magazine fighter of the year in 1980 and 1984 and is best known for his fights with Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler and Roberto Durán.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This is a one page typed letter on Thomas Hearns Enterprise letterhead. Boldly signed in ink, "Thomas Hitman Hearns" and which he added, "Thank-you for the very nice letter. It is always nice when fans write letters with so much feeling. I am sending you back your $10.00. I do not except money for autographs." Dated October 30, 1990. Clean front and back. Some toning on the edges. Not creased or torn. 8 1/2" x 11."
