HISTORY: On March 18, 1959 at the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles world middleweight champion Hogan "Kid" Bassey defended his title against Davey Moore. Moore prevailed stopping Bassey in the 13th round to win the title. Bassey's manager George Biddles stopped the bout after the 13th round. Offered here is an original wire photo which depicts action.
