HISTORY: Christopher "Battling" Battalino was born on February 18, 1908 in Hartford, Conn. He won the World Featherweight Title on September 23, 1929 from Andre Routis. He retired after losing to Dick Turcotte on January 30, 1940 with a final record of 57-26-3 with 1 no contest and 23 KO's. Presented here is a pencil signature cut circa 1929.

FULL DESCRIPTION: Battling Battalino has boldly signed this 3 3/4" x 4 3/4" cut in pencil. He has inscribed it, "Bat Battalino World Featherweight Champion." There are 3 holes punched along the top and there are small creases throughout the cut. No rips or tears.
