STRIBLING, YOUNG-PAUL BERLENBACH POST FIGHT POSTER (1924)

On August 27, 1924 at the Velodrome in New York light heavyweights Paul Berlenbach and Young Stribling battled in an important divisional matchup. After six rounds the fight was declared a draw. Because Stribling was 19 years old the fight was limited to 6 rounds due to NY boxing laws. Offered here is an original Associated News Service post fight poster depicting action during the fight.
