HISTORY: Joe Louis was born on May 13, 1914 in Lafayette, Alabama. On June 22, 1937 he won the World Heavyweight Title from James J. Braddock. He retired after losing to Rocky Marciano on October 26, 1951. His final record was 63-3. Offered here is an original, plaster, painted bust of Joe Louis entitled "THE BROWN BOMBER." By artist Ken Clark of Ringside.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This is a plaster, painted bust featuring the fight pose figure of Joe Louis on a base with the title, "BROWN BOMBER." In excellent condition. Minor paint chips and rubs.  Repaired crack at left glove.  10" high.
