On March 8, 1971 at Madison Square Garden in New York undefeated heavyweight champions Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali fought to determine the real champion. In arguably his greatest fight, Joe Frazier prevailed knocking Ali down in the final round en route to winning a unanimous 15 round decision. Offered here is a scarce souvenir poster featuring LeRoy Neiman renditions of each fighter which has been signed by both Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier.
This souvenir poster is vintage 1971. It is paper which has been professionally linen backed. Signed in black sharpie by Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. Ali signed this in 1990. Frazier signed it in 1992. Some evidence of the original folds. Color and images are bold. Signatures are in black sharpie and are bold. 25" x 37."
