HISTORY: On October 1, 1975 Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier met for the third and final time in the historic "Thriller In Manila." Ali emerged victorious in what was clearly one of the great fights of the century when Joe Frazier could no longer continue.
Offered here is a 25th anniversary WBA belt which was given to kick boxer, martial arts and promoter Larry Mah of Las Vegas.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, WBA 25th anniversary belt made to commemorate this event. The belt has three plates which rest on red, white and purple satin sash with leather straps at each end. The heavy center plate includes a crown with red jewels and an enamel WBA center plate. On each side there are plates commemorating the event itself. These plates have discolored and there is some pitting. The sash has some separtion at the seams which could be repaired. 11" x 50."
