Loudon Campbell (1873-1943) was an American lightweight who fought from 1896 until 1904. His first professional fight was a victory over Charles Heathcote on April 14, 1896. During his career Campball fought some notable lightweights including Denny Gallagher, Joe Bernstein and Eddie Santry. He retired after losing to Solly Stroup on September 5, 1904 with a final mark of 25-8-11. Loudon Campball passed away on December 10, 1943 at age 70. Offered here is an original cabinet card of Loudon Campbell as he appeared at the heaight of his career.
This is an original cabinet card picturing Campbell. Photographer stamp on mount. Bold, clear image. Clean fornt and back. Not creased or torn. Corners are sharp. About as nice a cabinet card as you will see. 4 1/4" x 6 1/2."
