Cassidy, Bobby-Bobby Warthem )n Site Poster (1970)

On March 16, 1970 middleweights Bobby Cassidy and Bobby Warthem squared off in an important divisional contest. The fight was in New York at the Audubon Ballroom, which five years earlier was the venue in which activist Malcolm X was assassinated. In this contest Cassidy won a 10 round decision. Offered here is an official, on site poster from the event.
The poster is cardboard measuring 22" x 28." It pictures both fighters. The year 1970 has been written in the center of the poster. There is tape in the corners and borders from mounting. Water stain in lower right area. No center crease. Crease in lower left corner. Edge and corner wear. Color is bold.
