CLANCY, GIL SIGNED INDEX CARD

Gil Clancy is one of the most noted boxing commentators of the 1980s and 1990s. Prior to that, he was a boxing trainer for many years. Over the years he worked with such famous boxers as Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, and George Foreman. He also worked in the 1990s with Oscar de la Hoya, coming out of retirement to do it. The fighter with whom Clancy is most indentified is Emile Griffith. Clancy was Griffith's first and only trainer and guided him to several world championships. Clancy is a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame.Presented here is a signed index card of Clancy.
