HISTORY: Johnny Dundee was born on Nov 22, 1893 in Italy. He defeated George Chaney on November 18, 1921 to win the Junior Lightweight Championship of the World. He fought Tony Canzoneri on October 24, 1927 for the Featherweight Championship but was not successful. Presented here is a signed antique promotional photo of Johnny Dundee. FULL DESCRIPTION: Johnny Dundee has boldly signed this 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" photo in black ink. He has inscribed it, "With best wishes To Henry Brown, With my complements Johnny Dundee 12/31/51. There is a small crease in the lower right corner. Clean signature. No rips or tears. Authenticated by PSA/DNA and comes with their label and full letter with cert # AL08983.
