FRAZIER, JOE-JERRY QUARRY I CLOSED CIRCUIT PROGRAM (1969)

On June 23, 1969 at Madison Square Garden in New York heavyweight chgampion Joe Frazier defended his title against Jerry Quarry. Frazier stopped Quarry in the 7th round. In between rounds 7 and 8 the referee stopped the fight because of the bad cut to Quarry's eye. This was the 1969 Fight of the Year named by Ring Magazine. Offered here is a scarce closed circuit program from Houston for the fight.
