GIARDELLO, JOEY-ROCKY RIVERO ON SITE POSTER (1964)

On April 17, 1964 at the Arena in Cleveland, Ohio world middleweight champion Joey Giardello fought Rocky Rivero in a main event, non title fight. The tough Argentinian made it a competitive fight, but Giardello managed to win a close, split 10 round decision. Offered here is an original, on site poster for this event.
This is an original, cardboard, on site poster which pictures both fighters. Bold color and print. Bold, clear images. Has a center crease. Tack holes in corners. Three pieces missing on white border which would easily matte out. Clean. 22" x 28." Rare, the only example we have seen.
