On July 1, 1966 at Johanneshov, Stockholm, Sweden former world heavyweight champion Sonny Liston fought Gerhard Zech in the main event. Liston dominated and knocked Zech out in the 7th round. "A crowd of 12,000 saw Liston, of Denver, Colo., flatten Zech with a short left-right combination. The German, his face and shoulders covered with blood from a cut over his right eye, got up reeling at the count of 10, but it was too late." (Associated Press). Offered here are the original fight worn trunks worn by Sonny Liston in this fight.
