On July 21, 1982 at Madison Square Garden in New York world featherweight champion Salvador Sanchez fought his last professional fight against Azumah Nelson. Sanchez prevailed stopping Nelson in the 15th round. Sanchez died in an accident less than a month later. Originally, this fight was to be against Mario Miranda, the number one contender. Nelson replaced Miranda. Offered here is a very rare, original press kit for the proposed fight with Mario Miranda.
