SHARKEY, TOM ORIGINAL CHICKERING ANTIQUE PHOTO

Tom Sharkey was born on November 26, 1873. During his career he fought Jim Corbett, Bob Fitzsimmons and Jim Jeffries among others. He fought Jim Jeffries for the heavyweight title in 1899 but lost the decision after 25 rounds. Presented here is an antique Chickering photo of Sharkry.
This mounted antique photo of Sharkey measures 7 1/4 inches by 9 1/2 inches.The photo is clean,no creases.The Chickering marking is present on the front.The back mounting has writing in ink with photo information dated 1900.The image is vivid.
