ZIVIC, FRITZIE-MIKE KAPLAN & CHARLIE BURLEY-EDDIE ELLIS OFFICIAL PROGRAM (1941)

On April 18, 1941 world welterweight champion Fritzie Zivic fought a non tile fight against Mike Kaplan at the Boston Garden. Zivic lost a ten round decision to Kaplan. On the undercard the great middleweight Charlie Burley stopped Eddie Ellis in the 5th round of their scheduled 8 rounder. Offered here is a very rare original, official program for this event.
This is an original, 4 page, official program which pictures Zivic and Kaplan on the front and back covers and includes a full scorecard. Neatly scored with pencil check marks for the winning fighter. Has a center crease. Tight binding. Surface wear on front cover. Mild stain and surface wear on back cover. 5 5/8" x 9 1/4."
