HISTORY: Georges Carpentier fought Jack Dempsey for the Heavyweight Title on July 2,1921 in front of over 80,000 people at Boyle's Thirty Acres in Jersey City, New Jersey. Dempsey won the fight by stopping the smaller Carpentier in the 4th round. This was the first million dollar gate in boxing history. Offered here is an original souvenir pennant from this event.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original blue, felt pennant with white tails and white lettering. Bold, white illustrations of the fighters. Bold color and print. Tails complete and perfectly intact. Clean front and back. No tack holes. Minor edge wear. 30" long with tails. Rare, particularly in this fine condition.
