HISTORY: Joe Choynski was born on November 8, 1868 in San Francisco. He fought as a heavyweight from the 1880's to the early 1900's. During his career he fought Jim Corbett, Jim Hall, and Philadelphia Jack O'Brien among others. Presented here is an original cabinet card of Joe Choynski.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original Webster & Albee of Rochester, New York cabinet card of Choynski in bust pose. Light fading, but completely discernible. Not creased or torn. Minor stain at lower border, otherwise clean. Minor corner wear. 4 1/4" x 6 1/2." Rare, the first we have offered.
