ARMSTRONG, HENRY-AL "BUMMY" DAVIS OFFICIAL PROGRAM (1944)

On June 15, 1944 at Madison Square Garden in New York former world champion Henry Armstrong matched against Al "Bummy" Davis in the main event. Armstrong dominated and stopped Davis in the 2nd round of the scheduled ten rounder. Davis was down twice in the 1st and twice in the 2nd. Offered here is a rare, original, official program for this event.
This is an original, official program which consists of 48 pages plus 4 page insert. Not scored. Tight binding although there is small cover separation. Minor edge and corner wear. Mild center crease. Insert 6 punch holes at the edges which does not affect the text. Clean inside and out. 8 1/2" x 11."
