WOODCOCK, BRUCE-JOE BAKSI OFFICIAL PROGRAM (1947)

On April 15, 1947 at Harringay Arena in London, England heavyweights Bruce Woodcock and Joe Baksi met in the featured match. Baksi stopped Woodcock in the 7th round. Woodcock was floored three times in the first round and twice in the second. He made a comeback and the fifth was his best round, but Baksi was scoring at will when the referee stopped it in the seventh. Offered here is an original, official program for this event.
