Louis, Joe Boxing Cufflinks

Joe Louis was Heavyweight Champion of the World longer than any other man. Best remembered for his historic fights with Max Schmeling, Billy Conn, Jersey Joe Walcott and Jimmy Braddock. There were many souvenir and commemorative items made up to honor and exploit the name of Joe Louis. Presented here are a very rare pair of Joe Louis Cufflinks which date to his fighting career.
This unique pair of cufflinks picture Joe Louis and have his name written next to the image. The under piece is in the image of a boxing glove. No manufacturer's name. In wonderful condition. The links are strong. I believe they are nickel plated. Definetly date to his fighting career. Extremely rare. Only the 2nd pair I have seen. 1/2" (W) x 3/4" (HT).
