HISTORY: On August 25, 1960 in Rome, Italy the opening day ceremonies of the Summer Olympic Games were conducted. These games would feature gold medal performances of Cassius Clay and Nino Benvenuti in boxing, Wilma Rudolph, Al Oerter, Peter Snell, Rafer Johnson, Abebe Bikila and Ralph Boston in track and field and the United States basketball team featuring Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, Jerry Lucas and Walt Bellamy. Offered here is an original, full, unused ticket for the opening day ceremonies.
