ALI, MUHAMMAD-CLEVELAND WILLIAMS CLOSED CIRCUIT POSTER (1966)

HISTORY: On November 14, 1966 at the Astrodome in Houston, Texas heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali defended his title against long time contender Cleveland "Big Cat" Williams. In a fight in which Ali dominated throughout Williams was completely outclassed. Many ring experts felt this may have been Ali's finest hour as a fighter. Williams was stopped in the third round. Offered here is a scarce original, closed circuit poster which advertises the showing of the fight at the State Theater in Chicago on the "big screen."

FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, cardboard, closed circuit poster which pictures both fighters. Bold color and print. Bold, clear images. Minor soiling. Small tack holes on top border and at bottom with no paper loss. Minor edge wear. 14" x 22."
