Muhammad Ali fought Jimmy Young on April 30, 1976 at the Capitol Centre in Landover, Maryland. Ali defeated Young by decision after 15 rounds to successfully defend his World Heavyweight Title. It was not a strong effort by Ali and some ringside observers actually thought Young won the fight. Offered here is an original poster advertising the fight being shown on ABC-TV sponsored by Schmidt's Beer.
This is an original advertisng poster for the fight printed on heavy stock paper. Bold, clear images. Bold color and print. Not creased. Has a small tear at top center border with no paper loss. Clean front and back. 16 3/4" x 22." The only example of this poster we have seen.
