On September 15 1978 in New Orleans Muhammad Ali met Leon Spinks for the Heavyweight Title. Ali would avenge his earlier loss to Spinks and would win the title back by unanimous decision. Ali became the first man to win the heavyweight title on three different occasions. Offered here is an original, souvenir poster from this fight which also advertises other events held that week.
This is an original, paper, souvenir, advertising poster which includes graphic depictions of the fighters. Bold color and print. Bold, clear images. Creased at lower right corner. Clean with small border spot stains at left white border. Has some edge and corner wear including a small tear at top center border with no paper loss and one at lower right center border with tape repair on back, again with no paper loss. 24" x 38." Very seldom seen version.
